How To Inspire His Passion Again & Again
Sometimes women will tell me that want passion to last forever, yet they doubt that passion could be there long term.
But what if I told you that the desperate drive to be constantly together, the release of endorphins can be replaced with something much deeper & much more profound?
In a relationship where the polarity between man & woman is clearly defined, passion has it's natural place.
It's also common to believe that a great relationship has no conflict. No arguments, just rose coloured little clouds to fly on.
But what if I told you that passion actually is most profoundly felt during & after conflict?
Working through a conflict creates more feelings of trust & connection, it creates what I call "relationship glue" - the type of connection that makes a man want to stick with you, and you with him....
Passion can be an intense feeling of content. The deep profound knowledge of belonging together, knowing that your man is and will be there for you.
It's a desire to be physically and emotionally close - and from what I know this GROWS rather than fades over the years!
If you're afraid of losing the passion in your relationship, start investigating these four things. They may be signs that passion is not really there:
- You don't show each other of feel a need for physical connection or closeness on a daily basis
- You don't feel any need or desire to spend time or see the other person
- Sex is inadequate or you just don't have the desire for it
- There's hardly no conflict or any disagreement and absolutely no fighting in the relationship.
All of these signs indicate that passion is lacking.
I know this to be true, from my first long relationship...we lived together and slept together, but any conflict was swept under the rug (or - I just accepted whatever, not to rock the boat...).
There was no emotional intimacy - he had in fact no idea of who I was, and I'm resistantly admitting it was probably the case for me too: I didn't know myself, and I didn't know him.
I was feeling very lonely even though we were together all the time.
Sex felt like obligation. I never knew sex could be pleasant :(
There was NO REAL PASSION. (now I know that he had narcissistic tendencies, and he was unable to connect. I was merely a "trophy" - a girlfriend who willingly took on whatever view or idea he had, but that's another story).
Point is:
Your relationship is NOT supposed to lack passion. Even if you've been together for YEARS!
If it's lacking passion, there's something else there lacking too.
That something, is often the Feminine Energy aspect of the relationship.
The Emotional part. Someone who leads with feminine energy.
The vulnerable part. Someone who dares to be vulnerable & open.
The Poetic part. Someone who turns the dry conversations into dripping fun.
The Sharing part. Someone who's willing to open up FIRST.
The Receiving part, Someone who's asking for HELP to solve the problems.
YOU as the woman can be that Feminine Energy. You can be the one opening up first, and inviting passion in.
